http://www.printpattern.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
i have only gone and featured on Print and Pattern blog!! woo!! i read this blog daily so it is a big complement to have my work worthy. i emailed in on the off chance before christmas and it paid off. i really am very chuffed! (not sure if you can tell!)

tigerprint competition 'what is love?' entries

these are my entries for the latest tigerprint competition, i wanted to take the title of the brief literally and stay true to my style and my sense of humour. i think you have learned by now that i loves a stripe!
i added a hint of photographic elements and used an irregular font which i created using dip pen and ink. there is a lot of lovely entries entered so wish me luck! xx

apologies for the dodgy phone photo but wanted show you i have been published! after working with Woodmansterne i have completed a range of four christmas cards using my fun illustrations featuring, 3 geese, 3 camels, 3 penguins and a reindeer!
i collaged the lettering for a more 'handmade' feel, as well as using stripes for the foreground. it was a great challenge to do something a bit more commercial and to learn what sells and what doesn't and to top it off they have my name on!!

Happy 2012!

Happy new year! Lets hope that 2012 will be as great as 2011!

For Christmas I made henry a his name in a frame, I collaged off cuts of my patterns and coloured papers and added a little picture of him riding in one of his favourite things – a digger!

I really enjoyed doing this and I am now making even more for commissions and to sell to anyone wants one.
