Staffs uni Surface Pattern degree show

Last week was our degree show and it was fantastic, some of my friends got a bit of interest and even managed to sell some of their work, which is very exciting!

We all manned the show in shifts, which was great to see visitors admire all the work as well spending time with friends while we kept an eye on things.

I think there is some brilliant work in the show so I thought id feature some of my own and other peoples work and show you what you have missed out on seeing! Below is work from Lisa Hart, Olivia Turner and Chloe Georgina Foster.

so its Staffs uni AMD degree show and it is blooming brilliant! it is so great to see so much amazing work in one show. including Surface pattern's (not that i'm biased!).

i decided to have a height chart i designed up in my show to show the skills i have developed in drawing and photoshop. i embossed areas as well as screenprinted the ribbon to tie it to hang up to have a more of a hand made quality that i did'nt want to lose.
on the other side of my board i chose to put together a montage of some of the patterns and illustrations i have produced throughout my final year. they all repeat and i think they are quite versatile using fresh and fun colours that i think reflect my personal style the most.
i am really chuffed how it has all turned out!

if you are in the area then we are going down to New Designers at the Business Design Centre on from 29th June - 2nd July. if you get a chance it will be really worth a visit!
